Monkfish liver recalled because of undeclared milk allergen
JJWV Marketing Corporation of Santa Fe Springs, CA, is recalling its Ankimo Monkfish Liver because of an undeclared milk allergen. The product may contain milk, posing a serious or life-threatening risk to individuals with milk allergies or sensitivities.
The recall was initiated after it was discovered that the product, which contains milk protein, was packaged in labeling that did not disclose the presence of milk. The issue was identified following routine checks, and the recall is being conducted with the knowledge of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

- Description: Vacuum-packed with a red label featuring white “ANKIMO” lettering, found in the frozen food section

- Expiration Dates: October 21, 2026; October 22, 2026; October 17, 2027

As of the posting of this recall, no illnesses or adverse reactions have been reported in connection with this product.
Consumers who have purchased the recalled Ankimo Monkfish Liver are urged not to consume it. The product should be returned to the place of purchase for a full refund.
