Pope Leo XIV Announces That the Catholic Church Will Be Buying the Mormon Church. What????

Perhaps you have seen the “SPOOF” announcement from nunchakusdragon, Scott Whitehead, on Tik Tok recently, when he declared that the Catholic church is buying the Mormon church, as well as other churches. Clearly, he was just being sarcastic, and the “news” was nothing more than just a joke… But Hold On…

Even in his sarcasm however, Scott probably had no idea about the reality of what is to come very soon. Something that each of you should be aware of and watching for.

As we approach the final days before Christ’s return, many believers are awakening to a troubling development in global spirituality: the formation of a One World Religion. This concept is powerfully foreshadowed in the Book of Revelation, and many Bible students and prophecy watchers believe it is already taking shape before our very eyes.

But what role, if any, might the Catholic Church play in this global religious system? Let’s examine what the King James Bible says and compare it to what is unfolding today.

The Prophetic Foundation – Revelation 17 and the Great Whore

In Revelation 17:1-5 (KJV), we read:

“Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters… With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication… and upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.”

This harlot woman rides a beast, is clothed in scarlet and purple, and holds a golden cup full of abominations. She is not a literal woman but a symbolic representation of a powerful religious system that has tremendous influence over kings and nations. She is called the “Mother of Harlots,” suggesting that she has daughters—offshoots or other religious systems that follow her model.

Many Protestant reformers and Bible scholars throughout history—Martin Luther, John Calvin, William Tyndale, and others—believed this harlot represented the Roman Catholic Church, pointing to its wealth, political influence, religious idolatry, and history of persecuting true believers.

Characteristics That Align

1. Colors and Attire
   Revelation 17:4 says she is “arrayed in purple and scarlet colour.” These are the primary colors worn by Catholic cardinals (scarlet) and bishops (purple).
2. Golden Cup
   Revelation 17:4 also mentions “a golden cup in her hand, full of abominations.” The Catholic Mass uses a golden chalice, and critics have long pointed to the doctrine of transubstantiation as a distortion of Christ’s sacrifice.
3. Persecution of the Saints
   Revelation 17:6 says, “I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints.” Historically, the Inquisitions and Crusades led by the Catholic Church resulted in the deaths of many who refused to bow to its authority.
4. Universal Reach
   The word “Catholic” itself means “universal.” The Vatican claims spiritual authority over more than 1.3 billion people and engages in interfaith unity efforts with world leaders of all religions—something that could easily morph into the leadership role of a global religion.

The Push for Unity – A One World Faith

In recent years, Pope Francis has emerged as a central figure in interreligious dialogue:

• He has signed documents with Muslim and Jewish leaders promoting “fraternity” and mutual understanding.
• He promotes the Abrahamic Family House in Abu Dhabi, which houses a mosque, synagogue, and church under one complex.
• He has called for global cooperation on climate change, economics, and moral issues—all of which are increasingly spiritualized.

While peace and dialogue are not bad in themselves, this pursuit of unity without truth is dangerous. The One World Religion is not about honoring Jesus Christ as the only way to the Father (John 14:6), but about compromising doctrine for the sake of global harmony. That is not biblical unity—it is deception.

An Important Event for Church Members to Consider

As you sit back in your chair and declare that “This will never happen to my church. They will stand alone, and will not participate in this One World Church,” consider the inevitable. All churches, as well as all of mankind will be “forced” to participate in the one world religion as well as the one world government. How can I make such a claim?

Buying and Selling – The Coming Economic Control

Revelation 13:16–17 (KJV) says:

“And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”

This is not just about technology or currency. It’s about control—spiritual and economic control combined. The Beast system will require allegiance, and that allegiance will be enforced by cutting off access to the marketplace for anyone who refuses to participate.

Now imagine a One World Religion that demands loyalty to a unified global faith, likely in the name of peace, tolerance, or climate stewardship. If the Catholic Church becomes the “mother” of this system, as many suspect based on Revelation 17, it may supply the religious framework to justify this forced compliance.

In other words:

• Refuse to Join the One World Religion?
• Reject the “mark” that identifies your loyalty?
• Stand on Jesus Christ as the only way to the Father?

Then you will lose your right to buy or sell.

In order for YOUR CHURCH to access all of the wealth that they have created, as well as their buildings, temples, etc., they must participate in the one world religion and take the mark of the beast. This is not an option, nor is it left up to the church to decide. It is MANDATORY! Failure to do so, the church will forfeit all of their assets, money, building, temples, and turn them over to “The Beast.”

Think deeply about what I’ve just said. Has a church been holding large amounts of assets (money) for a “Rainey Day” fund, only to know that they will have to turn it over to Satan’s team? Would Christ’s Church Do This?!?!?

The System Is Being Built Now

We’re already seeing the infrastructure for this prophecy being developed:

• Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) – programmable money that could be turned off for non-compliance.
• Social credit systems – already used in places like China, where your beliefs and behavior can impact your ability to travel, work, or purchase.
• Global ID systems – such as the UN’s push for digital identity to track vaccination, banking, and travel.
• Religious convergence – with leaders from the Catholic Church, Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, and even some evangelical groups forming interfaith alliances.

Everything is converging—religion, economics, and government—exactly as the KJV Bible warned us it would in the Book of Revelation.

Stand Now or Fall Later

If you are waiting for the One World Religion and Mark of the Beast system to arrive—you’re already late. The beast system is being built now, quietly and cleverly, cloaked in the language of safety, unity, and progress.

But God is calling His people to stand apart. The same Jesus who warned of deception in the last days also promised:

“Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer… be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.” (Revelation 2:10, KJV)

A Warning to Believers

Revelation 18:4 (KJV) warns:

“Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.”

This is a direct call to God’s people to separate themselves from this corrupt religious system. Whether or not the Catholic Church will officially become the head of the One World Religion, the evidence strongly suggests it will play a central, parent-like role. Many other denominations and world religions will follow suit, creating a coalition of false unity.

BEWARE and Take Note – What Churches May Say to Justify the Mark

Be prepared for your church to deceive its members by saying things such as…..

1. “This is how we show love and unity.”

“Didn’t Jesus say we should love our neighbor? We need to be unified with all faiths to heal the world. Taking the mark is just a sign of peace and togetherness.”

Truth: Biblical love never compromises truth. Jesus said:

“Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.” (Matthew 10:34, KJV)

2. “It’s not the actual ‘mark’ from Revelation—it’s just symbolic.”

“The mark isn’t literal. It’s a metaphor for spiritual choices. Technology or global IDs aren’t evil—they’re neutral tools.”

Truth: Revelation is clear:

“He causeth all… to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads.” (Revelation 13:16, KJV)
This is literal economic and spiritual control. Denying that is a direct contradiction of Scripture.

3. “Our leaders support this—we should trust them. We’ve been taught to Follow the Prophet.”

“The Pope, Prophet, Pastor, Bishop have endorsed this. God puts leaders in place, and we should submit to them.”

Truth: Paul warned:

“For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.” (2 Corinthians 11:13, KJV)

Not all who speak in Christ’s name truly serve Him.

4. “You won’t be able to participate in society unless we comply.”

“We won’t be able to meet, worship, or help the poor unless we take the mark. God understands. He knows our hearts.”

Truth: God does not accept compromise with evil.

“Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils.” (1 Corinthians 10:21, KJV)

Many will rationalize disobedience to avoid suffering—but true faith stands firm, even unto death (Revelation 2:10).

5. “God wants us to prosper.”

“We can’t preach the gospel or feed our families if we’re locked out of the system. God wouldn’t want us to suffer. He’s a God of prosperity.” Do not buy into this!

Truth: Jesus said:

“Whosoever will save his life shall lose it.” (Matthew 16:25, KJV)
Following Christ may cost you everything in this life, but gain you eternity.

Final Thoughts

The Bible tells us to “try the spirits” (1 John 4:1), to “earnestly contend for the faith” (Jude 1:3), and to hold fast to sound doctrine (Titus 1:9). In these last days, deception will not come dressed as evil but disguised as light (2 Corinthians 11:14). We must be wise and discerning.

The One World Religion is forming. Whether the Catholic Church leads it, births it, or simply joins it, believers must not follow. Our loyalty belongs to Jesus Christ alone, and we must be willing to stand apart from the world, even if it costs us everything.

Trust that God will watch over His children. Trust Him…NOT a CHURCH!! This WILL happen in the next several years, so decide right now, that you will always follow God First. Do not fall for the deception that is coming from our churches regarding this matter. It will happen, regardless of their choosing. Prepare yourselves, and families so that you are not deceived, for this scripture was written for YOU, Right Now…

Matthew 24:24 (KJV):

“For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”

Having church leaders sway their members in joining and following this One World Religion is Satan’s Plan to deceive the very elect. Do not fall for this deception. Your church WILL BE NO LONGER, it will go to the beast, weather they voluntarily join, or the beast simply takes it, and they will try to take you with it. Choose this day how you will respond.

While there is no hard, conclusive evidence that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) will willingly join the Beast, there are patterns and developments that some former members, prophecy watchers, and critics interpret as potential signs of alignment with the coming global religious-political system described in the Book of Revelation.

Here are several observations that some believe could point in that direction, along with scriptural warnings to consider:

1. Political and Global Influence Increasing

• The LDS Church has been increasingly involved in United Nations-style humanitarian efforts, interfaith councils, and World Economic Forum-adjacent discussions.
• President Nelson’s remarks at global summits and the Church’s growing public relations work can be seen as a move toward acceptance and cooperation with global power structures.
• While these actions are often framed as charitable or cooperative, Revelation warns of a false prophet-like system that will appear benevolent but serve the Beast (Revelation 13:11-15).

2. Emphasis on Unity Over Doctrinal Truth

• The Church has increasingly shifted its public message from exclusive truth claims (e.g., being “the only true church”) to messages of love, unity, and moral living.
• President Nelson’s messages focus on “becoming better disciples” without much emphasis on repentance, judgment, or doctrinal separation.
• Some see this as drifting toward a generic, ecumenical religion, which aligns with Revelation 17′s description of a spiritually adulterous, unified false religion.

3. Corporatization of Religion

• Critics argue the LDS Church acts more like a corporation than a church, with:
  • $200+ billion in investment reserves (via Ensign Peak Advisors).
  • Strong emphasis on real estate, for-profit businesses, and wealth accumulation.

• Revelation 18 describes “Babylon the Great” as a wealthy, luxurious system that traffics in souls and merchandise, which some interpret as corrupt religious organizations that have compromised for worldly power.

4. Changes in Doctrine and Identity

• The name shift from “Mormon” to “The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints” was heavily emphasized by President Nelson in 2018.
• The temple ceremony, garments, and certain doctrines have been revised or softened in recent years.
• Some members and ex-members believe this is evidence of gradual compromise to fit in with the world, rather than being set apart as Christ commanded (John 15:19).

5. Prophetic Silence on the Last Days

• While the Church teaches about the Second Coming, it rarely warns explicitly about the Antichrist, the Beast, the Mark, or the False Prophet in public sermons. Don’t you wonder why that is the case?
• Contrast this with Jesus and the Apostles, who strongly warned of deception in the last days (Matthew 24, 2 Thessalonians 2, Revelation 13).

BIBLICAL WARNINGS TO CONSIDER

• Revelation 13:7-8 – The Beast is given authority over “every tribe, people, tongue, and nation,” and all will worship him except those whose names are written in the Book of Life.
• 2 Thessalonians 2:3 – A great falling away (apostasy) will come before the return of Christ.
• Revelation 17:1-5 – A great harlot (symbolic of false religion) rides the Beast and is adorned in luxury and scarlet, drunk with the blood of saints.

Conclusion:

There’s no definitive proof that the LDS Church will willingly join the Beast. But to people watching with open eyes, some signs are troubling—especially when viewed through the lens of Scripture that warns of religious deception, apostasy, and alliances with global power in the end times.

If your spirit is warning you, don’t ignore that discernment. Jesus said to “watch and pray” and not be deceived (Luke 21:36, Matthew 24:4). The Bible warns that even the elect can be led astray (Matthew 24:24).

Now, we need to take this very seriously, and know that you are in the crosshairs of satan and his team, however, there is always good news for those who follow Christ.

No matter how dark the world becomes, God watches over His children with perfect love, strength, and faithfulness.

God Will Watch Over His Children

Psalm 121:7–8 (KJV)

“The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.”

No matter what the Beast system does…
No matter who turns against us…
No matter how much is taken from us…

God will preserve our souls. That’s His covenant with His children.

Psalm 91:4 (KJV)

“He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.”

While the world runs to the false promises of the Antichrist, God’s children will be hidden under His wings. His truth will be our shield—not technology, not governments, not church systems, but the unchanging Word of God.

Isaiah 43:2 (KJV)

“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee;
and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee:
when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned;
neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.”

You may walk through tribulation, rejection, hunger, or persecution, but God says:
“I will be with thee.”

He doesn’t promise a detour around suffering—He promises His presence through it.

John 10:28 (KJV)

“And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.”

Even in the face of the Mark, the Beast, and the One World Religion, God’s children are held securely in Christ’s hand.

Final Encouragement

Yes, deception will rise. Yes, even the very elect could be deceived.
But know—God’s watchful eye never closes. His Spirit never leaves His true children.

So, stand, even if you’re trembling. Endure, even if you’re weary.
Because the same Jesus who saved you is the same Jesus who will sustain you to the end.

“Lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” (Matthew 28:20, KJV)

Isaiah 41:10 (KJV)

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee:
be not dismayed; for I am thy God:
I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee;
yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”

God isn’t telling you to be fearless in your own strength.
He’s saying: “You don’t have to fear, because I am with you.”

Psalm 27:1 (KJV)

“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?
the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”

When the world grows darker, the light of God shines brighter for those who trust in Him. The Lord is our salvation and strength, not the systems of this world.

2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV)

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

If fear is taking hold of your heart, know this: it’s not from God.
What He gives is power, love, and clear thinking—even in chaos.

Luke 12:32 (KJV)

“Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.”

You may feel small. Outnumbered. Surrounded.
But Jesus calls you His flock—and He’s the Good Shepherd who never abandons His sheep.

John 14:27 (KJV)

“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you:
not as the world giveth, give I unto you.
Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

The world offers false peace through control.
Jesus offers real peace, right in the middle of the storm.

Now, you have made up your mind to follow Jesus Christ, regardless of what church leaders might tell you concerning the One World Church. Since you have made that decision, trust that God will watch over you and guide you through these challenging times that are before us. Let This Be Our Plan! And should the Rapture, removing us from this earth, happen prior to us having to go through this…Even Better. =)
