Today’s Reflection of Our Studies. It’s All Coming Together. Can you Feel the Peace?
As we all have been spending time together online, I’ve had a moment to think about everything that we have been studying. There are several very simple things that we have discussed, which are important to me today. I would like to take a moment and remind you of them:
Jesus is Coming Again (Acts 1:11, Revelation 22:12).
Acts 1:11 (KJV)
“Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.”
Meaning: Jesus will return personally, visibly, and bodily—just as He ascended. This confirms the Second Coming is real, literal, and guaranteed.
Revelation 22:12 (KJV)
“And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.”
Doesn’t this all make sense now? Jesus is coming back with the rewards that He has promised to us in the first Judgment, happening during the Rapture. And, now we know what He is talking about when He says that He will reward us (with the crowns that we discussed) based upon our works, (our good deeds).
Your Relationship with Christ is Your Refuge— (Psalm 91, John 10:27–29).
Psalm 91:1–2 (KJV)
“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.”
Key Message: God is your safe place and protection, even in the midst of chaos, pestilence, and war. The whole Psalm is a powerful promise of divine shelter for those who trust in Him.
John 10:27–29 (KJV)
“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.”
Key Message: Jesus personally knows and protects His followers. Once you belong to Him, no power in heaven or earth can snatch you away. This is a rock-solid promise of eternal security for believers.
Together, these passages remind us that those who walk with God are safe—not because the world is safe, but because God is sovereign. There is so much peace and comfort here isn’t there?
Again, the gospel of Jesus Christ is simple, as these messages confirm. Let’s spend the day thinking of these messages, and be grateful that we have this knowledge.
