Israel – Hamas Conflict. Gog and Magog. It’s All coming Together. Take a Look.

The ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict—and broader Middle East tensions—have led many Bible prophecy teachers to point to the Book of Ezekiel, especially chapters 38–39, as potentially describing future events that could align with what’s unfolding today. Here’s a breakdown of relevant KJV scriptures and interpretations connected to the Israel-Hamas conflict, alliances like Russia and Iran, and the prophetic role of Jerusalem:

Ezekiel 38–39: The War of Gog and Magog

These chapters describe a coalition of nations coming against Israel in the last days, led by a figure named “Gog” from the land of “Magog.”

Ezekiel 38:2–6 (KJV)

“Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him,”
“And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:”
“…Persia, Ethiopia, and Libya with them; all of them with shield and helmet:”

• Interpretation:
  • Gog is often interpreted as a powerful end-time leader.

• Interpretation: Many believe this ultimately points to Armageddon, but also foreshadows growing international conflicts centered on Jerusalem.

Jesus’ Words on the End Times (New Testament Cross-References)

“And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh…”

• Interpretation: Jesus warned that Jerusalem would be surrounded by armies in the last days, which echoes Ezekiel and Zechariah.

Prophecies Are Converging

• Ezekiel 38–39 lays out a vivid picture of a last-days war against Israel involving a coalition that includes Russia (Magog) and Iran (Persia)—an alliance we see forming now.
• Zechariah and Luke highlight Jerusalem as the epicenter of global conflict, which aligns with the growing unrest and international focus on Israel’s capital.
• The regathering of Israel (Ezekiel 38:8) has already happened (1948), fulfilling one of the major prerequisites for end-times prophecy.

Global Instability Is Increasing

• Natural disasters (fires), wars, economic uncertainty, and moral decline are escalating—just as Jesus described in Matthew 24 as “the beginning of sorrows.”
• Alliances and conflicts today (e.g., Russia, Iran, Turkey, Israel) mirror the prophetic blueprint laid out thousands of years ago.

God’s Sovereignty and Purpose Stand Firm

These events are not random—they are part of God’s foretold plan to bring history to a climax:

“Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations…”

Even in judgment and war, God is revealing Himself and calling people to repentance.

Many things are currently in place as we all wait for the next step in the end-times timeline: “The signing of the 7-year peace agreement” with Israel and surrounding countries. Currently, it seems Impossible to see this happening, but remember, it is going to take someone very special to make this occur. Someone with dynamic leadership skills who can work miracles…You know…Someone like the Antichrist?!?

Time is running out for this to take place. It must happen in 2025, as adding the seven years of the tribulation to this timeline will place it out of bounds for Jesus Christ to arrive in 2032 (2,000 years from the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, 32 A.D.).

As we watch end times unfold, let us be reassured that God is aware, and has already planned His strategy in defeating the evil that will rule the earth in the last days. We were saved for this time, but simply not to do nothing. Continue to spread the word about Jesus Christ. Let people know who he is, and what He has done for them, in atoning for their sins so that we can live with Him in eternity…Forever. Doing this is a lot easier than you might think.
