Zuckerberg Claims Victim Status - But He's Actually Been The One Attacking (Video)

There are things that are believable; things that are questionable; things that are believable “if”; and, things that are unbelievable. Depending on your perspective, Mark Zuckerberg stating on the Joe Rogan podcast that individuals from the Biden administration would yell and curse at Meta employee’s to censor “true” content would fall into one of those categories. Isn’t this how it usually works – the guilty play the victim?

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg told podcast host Joe Rogan on Friday that officials in President Joe Biden’s administration would yell and hurl profanities at his company’s employees over content censorship.

The Biden administration pushed Facebook to censor posts about COVID-19 that it deemed misinformation, according to documents published by House Judiciary Committee chairman Jim Jordan in July 2023. Zuckerberg, on “The Joe Rogan Experience,” revealed that also Meta faced investigations and backlash after Biden accused Facebook of “killing people” in July 2021 for not censoring so-called COVID-19 misinformation.

For full disclosure, this writer did not watch the entire 2-hour Joe Rogan interview with Zuckerberg. It’s important to bring the entire information to readers, but doing that should not include torture. The link has been provided above if you would like to do so.

The below transcript was provided by The Liberty Daily from The Daily Caller News Foundation.

“Basically, these people from the Biden Administration would call up our team and like scream at them and curse,” Zuckerberg said. “And it’s like these documents are — it’s all kind of out there.”

Rogan asked if Meta had recorded any of the calls, but Zuckerberg said he did not believe so.

“I mean, there are emails. The emails are published. It’s all kind of out there …. And basically, it just got to this point where we were like, ‘No, we’re not going to — we’re not going to take down things that are true. That’s ridiculous,’” Zuckerberg said. “They wanted us to take down this meme of Leonardo DiCaprio looking at a TV, talking about how ten years from now or something, you’re going to see an ad that says, ‘Okay, if you took a COVID vaccine, you’re eligible, like for this kind of payment,’ like this sort of like class-action lawsuit-type meme. And they’re like, ‘No, you have to take that down.’”

“We just said, ‘No, we’re not going to take down humor and satire. We’re not going to take down things that are true.’ And then at some point, I guess — I don’t know — it flipped a bit,” he added. “I mean, Biden, when he was — he gave some statement at some point, I don’t know if it was a press conference or to some journalist, where he basically was like, ‘These guys are killing people.’ And I don’t know. Then like all these different agencies and branches of government basically just like started investigating and coming after our company. It was brutal.”

What Zuckerberg is saying is “questionable”. From the emails, it is apparent Meta aka Facebook had been providing the administration with information regarding posts made on the platform as indicated by an email provided on a post by Rep. Jim Jordan. One sentence in that email indicates the platform was providing information to the Biden administration without any coercion, pressure, or force. “For example, we recently shared with the White House a list of the top 100 vaccine-related posts on FB in the US for the week of 4/5-4/11.” The company “shared” the information with the White House. It did not state the company was “pressured” to provide the information. Considering that Zuckerberg enjoyed a “seat” at the table of “government” on numerous issues preceding the CONvid-1984 planned scam-demic, it brings into question what Zuckerberg is saying. One can conclude Facebook/Meta was working “with” the administration.

According to another email post by Rep. Jim Jordan, there was outrage from a representative of the Biden administration that a post, indicated in the priorly referenced email, was not removed. While that may be the case, Facebook/Meta employed “fact checkers” to supposedly verify information posted on the platform. As many FB users experienced, the platform supported the official narrative, flagged any post outside of that narrative with a “fact check” addition, removed posts that were flagged by “fact checkers” as false, shadow banned users continuing to present actual facts, censored posts, and eventually permanently banned individuals who continued to post information considered “false” by “fact checkers”.

It is apparent the company and Zuckerberg were happy to cooperate with the administration, then attempt to “deflect” from the complicity in silencing freedom of speech when the “dog and pony show” hearings commenced. Classic textbook case of the guilty playing the victim.

This all would be believable “if” the government had unlawfully, illegally and unconstitutionally sanctioned the company and Zuckerberg in some manner. However, Zuckerberg nor anyone at the company ever indicated that had happened. Remember, Zuckerberg enjoyed a seat at the government “dinner table” on previous issues and became a “government informant” regarding CONvid-1984 planned scam-demic posts on the platform while engaging fact checkers to support the government narrative. There were no “outrages” coming from Meta/Facebook or Zuckerberg on what was claimed the government was doing at the time.

In that email was this little caveat – “He was appreciative of the data we sent thru on Friday, and confirmed that Rob F had said that they had never received so much data from us before”.

Facebook/Meta and Zuckerberg were not victims; a choice was made. It is total bull shavaky to believe Zuckerberg’s recall of “events” presented on Joe Rogan.

According to The Liberty Daily:

Facebook executives believed they were engaged in a “knife fight” with Biden’s White House on COVID-19 censorship, according to a House Judiciary Committee report published in May.

Zuckerberg in August expressed remorse that Facebook caved to pressure from the Biden administration to censor content in a letter to Jordan. He wrote that senior Biden administration officials “repeatedly pressured” Facebook teams to censor COVID-19 content that the platform otherwise would not have suppressed, and voiced frustration when Facebook disagreed.

“I believe the government pressure was wrong, and I regret that we were not more outspoken about it,” Zuckerberg wrote. “I also think we made some choices that, with the benefit of hindsight and new information, we wouldn’t make today.”

The entire scenario can be summed as follows: Facebook “caved” to White House pressure to censor content; Facebook made the choice to comply; Facebook did not disclose the “pressure” because they were previously working “with” the government; and, Facebook nor Zuckerberg have learned anything from the past. Because Zuckerberg had a coveted seat at the government dinner table, so to speak, it is not a far stretch to hypothesize the “investigation” by Jim Jordan and the House committee would attempt to cover for Zuckerberg and place the onus on the Biden administration. That’s not to say the Biden administration did not engage in unlawful, unconstitutional usurpation or any illegal activity. They did. However, Meta/Facebook and Zuckerberg enjoyed a cozy relationship with government, including Congress, and was only too happy to do its bidding. It was only when public pressure ensued over actions Facebook implemented to silence users it became an issue.

If many can recall, several members of Congress were calling for actions, including censorship, against individuals on social media platforms when posts contradicted the official narrative concerning CONvid-1984 planned scam-demic. What better way to deflect from Zuckerberg, Meta/Facebook, and members of Congress than to put all the focus for wrong-doing on the Biden administration. This would also apply to Google, YouTube, Amazon and any other platforms that engaged in censorship, banning, shadow banning, and removal of users’ content at government direction.

The true victims of the actions by social media platforms (Facebook/Meta, YouTube) and entities like Amazon and Google are the individuals who were harmed by their actions of censorship, banning, shadow banning and removal of content. Where is the statements to users about returning accounts and content? It’s nowhere to be found because these platforms and entities are still engaging in censorship, banning, shadow banning, and removal of users’ content. There is no justice for the true victims. Users of these platforms are still being victimized despite the “Oh, look at us, we were victims of the government” Zuckerberg and company. They can all claim regret and remorse all they want. If they were truly sincere, they would reinstate everyone that was banned with all their content, stop their continued censorship, and stop the shadow banning and banning of individuals using their platforms.
