Rust n Jute Fire Roll… Completely Surprised When It Burst Into Flames
David West I thought the Rust and #Jute Fire Roll would work pretty easily, but I never expected it to burst into flames. LOL! I wasn’t sure what to do next, end the video or go for the pine needles ignition. LOL!
Is Dryer #Lint Really The Best Fire Starter?
Survival On Purpose (He gets to it at approx 4:20) People keep telling me dryer lint is the best fire starter, so I finally decided to do a test and see just how good a firestarter it is. Let’s compare it to 3 of my favorite fire starters and you decide.
Making your own #fireStarters
E Fleming In this video I will show you how to make your own fire-starters using pine shavings (the kind you can find at any pet store / agricultural store) and regular candle wax (I bought these at the dollar store). I believe I purchased my oversized muffin / brownie tins at the Christmas Tree Shop. Which fire starters do I like more?? I’m not sure actually; they both seem to work equally well.
2 Liter Water Filter from #Natural Items
Survival on the Skinny In this video I will show how to build a water filter using an empty 2 Liter bottle and materials that you can source from the wild. This will work with any container, whether it be a bottle, hollow wood or whatever will hold water. The More you cycle through the filter the cleaner the water will be. I was using some VERY muddy water, try and source the best water you can find. Thanks for watching.
How To Get #Water From Trees!
Caveman Cody Other trees you can tap but are not limited to, birch, maple, walnut, hickory, and box elder. Do research on trees in your local area on what trees you can tap and drink.
337 lbs of #Potatoes! NO digging, NO watering, and VERY LITTLE work!
Back to Reality After our first attempt at growing potatoes last year, it was pretty obvious that we’d need to increase the size of our crop if we’d ever hoped to become fully food-self-sufficient. So we built a much larger Ruth Stout garden, and now check out this year’s harvest!
#Cactus Eating -Desert Survival- #Food & #Water
Bob Hansler Cactus is incredibly useful, some can even supply a tasty treat or moisture. If you plan on foraging cactus, make sure you have positively identified your regional varieties so that protected or harmful varieties are avoided. Be safe and respectful out there. Until Next Time.

#Primitive Survival Shelter Build with Bare Hands – No Tools Needed
TA Outdoors I head into the forest to to build a primitive survival shelter using just my hands and no tools. This bushcraft shelter is ideal for a 24 hour survival situation. I forage for resources and use nature to my advantage. Using natural materials such as sticks and moss to build this primitive shelter. Building a bushcraft shelter can be a challenge, but by using minimal effort and your intuition you can work with nature to protect and provide for yourself. I scout the area for a fallen tree. I use the tree as a ridgepole for the A-frame shelter. Using sticks to support the frame of the shelter, I then use moss on the wood roof to keep the rain out. If I was looking to bug out, this would be the type of low-profile, stealth shelter that I would build.
#Winter Survival – 15 minutes shelter
Norweagian Bushcraft This is a quick and easy-to-build emergency shelter for surviving in the cold snowy enviroment. Often called a “snow trench shelter” or “snow trench cave”. Preperably a real snow cave, a quinzhee or a slope cave would be chosen, but those shelters are time consuming and requires some experience to do right, and in som areas like in the forest, it can be impossible due to snow depth, or to find a bank with enough drifted snow. Shelters like that are more useful above the tree-line were there are more snow and less vegitation. This one is quick and simple. Instead of boughs on top, you can use a tarp or any other cover. As said in the video, it is not very warm, not particulary comfortable either, but it keeps you away from the weather.

OTHER TIPS:
As soon as the first nuc is detinated, it is time to hunkerdown! No matter WHERE that nuclear weapon hit, hunker down! There will be more coming, likely to a nation or town near you! Even if it doesn’t, the panic, martial law, empty grocery stores and crap that follows you will want to be protected from it all!
Stock up on those inexpensive solar lights that are made to line your walkway, (they spike into the ground) that are usually only a buck a piece. Keep them out in the sun to charge, so that should we experience a blackout, just bring those puppies on inside for light.
Get a few large rolls of black plastic sheeting from your local hardware store. Black-out your windows when it hits the fan. If the situation calls for leaving the home (most likely permanently), the plastic can fill multiple life-saving roles (including shelter or as a water source: collecting rain water or collecting dew/condensation) out in the wild.
In your emergency Go Bag, be sure to include a Bible & a handbook on edible plants.
Go camping without accessories. Only primitive tools & supplies (as if you plucked them from the ground or garbage). Go Now! Learn this stuff NOW!
Identify poisonous plants for your surrounding areas now.
I repeat: As soon as the first nuc is detinated, it is time to hunkerdown! No matter WHERE that nuclear weapon hit, hunker down! There will be more coming, likely to a nation or town near you! Even if it doesn’t, the panic, martial law, empty grocery stores and crap that follows … you will want to be protected from it all!
