Five Offensive Linemen to Watch During Sunday’s Combine

It’s been an exciting few days in Indianapolis, as prospects have shown off their blazing speed and athletic abilities. However, Sunday might be the most important day of the combine for the Ravens front office, as offensive linemen are set to take the field for their turn at drills. There’s no doubt the Ravens have a dire need to find some help on the offensive line. The team was expected to meet with Ronnie Stanley’s camp this week, with expectations high to get a deal done with one of the hottest free agents this offseason. Getting a deal done with Ronnie Stanley is crucial, as it will allow the Ravens to potentially shift their focus to the interior of their o-line. Luckily for Baltimore, the selections available at the offensive line are aplenty.
Tate Ratledge, Guard, Georgia
Tate Ratledge might be one of the more complete guards in this draft class. A three-year starter in the SEC, Ratledge made a living off of maintaining integrity in the pocket, surrendering just 2 sacks on 1,117 career pass block snaps. Tate’s tenacity and consistency helped the guard secure back-to-back 1st Team All-SEC and a 1st Team All-American nod in 2024. The Ravens use of gap and power schemes makes Ratledge seemingly a perfect match for the team’s right guard position. The Georgia guard carries what seems to be a third-round grade with him into Sunday’s set of drills. With 3-4 picks in between the second and fourth round, Ratledge could be a selection with a lot of upside in the Ravens offense.

5 Players to Watch During Saturday’s Combine Drills
Grey Zabel, Offensive Line, North Dakota St
Following a dominant showing at the Reese’s Senior Bowl, North Dakota State’s Grey Zabel has become one of the more sought after offensive line prospects in the 2025 class. The expectation seems to be Zabel making the move to guard at the next level, with little struggle expected. Over 5 seasons at North Dakota St, Zabel saw a minimum of 200 snaps at both guard and tackle positions, showing consistency along with his versatility. Zabel’s ability to rapidly process moving parts across the defensive front, might be the most impressive aspect of the young lineman’s skillset. Allowing just 1 sack on 424 pass block attempts, Zabel finished 2024 as PFF’s highest rated pass blocking lineman, with a 93.1 grade. Getting to a team who prioritizes zone schemes seems like the perfect fit for the FCS star. The question is, will Zabel still be available with the 27th pick?
BEST GAMES: @ Colorado, @ Eastern Tennessee St, vs Northern Iowa
WORST GAMES: vs Tennessee St, @ South Dakota
Wyatt Milum, Offensive Line, West Virginia
It’s never too early to begin thinking about future replacements, regardless if the Ravens re-sign top tackle free agent, Ronnie Stanley. Since his All-Pro season in 2019, injuries have continued to plague Stanley’s career, limiting him to just one full season(2024) since his historic breakout year. Finding a reliable and valuable option to replace Stanley in the future, could be key in sustaining offensive success following Stanley’s time in the Charm City. Wyatt Milum could be the perfect option for the Ravens, should they look to find a future starting tackle, with guard potential in the draft. Milum’s success in pass protection gives him the advantage of remaining a tackle at the next level, despite the limited arm length. The West Virginia star hasn’t surrendered a sack since his freshman campaign, going 1,071 straight pass blocking snaps keeping the QB clean. Will a solid performance Sunday allow the West Virginia offensive lineman to jump into the first round?
BEST GAMES: vs Kansas, @ Oklahoma St
WORST GAMES: Penn State, @ Cincinnati
5 Players to Watch During Friday’s Combine Drills: DBs and TEs
Marcus Mbow, Offensive Tackle, Purdue
During his combine media portion, Purdue tackle Marcus Mbow, stated he’s had a formal meeting with the Ravens in Indianapolis. The 3-year starter is one of the more interesting prospects in this entire draft cycle, for the sole purpose of the uncertainty surrounding his true position in the NFL. Mbow is highly praised for his freakish athletic ability as an offensive lineman, but size limitations could restrict the right tackle from playing on the outside in the pros. Smaller arm length for Mbow has led to questions surrounding the prospect’s effectiveness against longer edge rushers at the next level. The transition to the interior of the offensive line shouldn’t be too tough of a task for Mbow, taking 647 of his 716 offensive snaps at right guard in 2022. With legit three-position flexibility, Marcus Mbow remains an intriguing prospect to watch both during today’s drills, and as a potential day 2 pick for the Ravens.
BEST GAMES: vs Indiana St, vs Oregon, @ Ohio St
WORST GAMES: vs Notre Dame, @ Wisconsin, vs Penn State
Jared Wilson, Center, Georgia
Similar to Mbow, Jared Wilson also met with the Ravens for a formal meeting in Indianapolis this weekend. It’s a bit unexpected from the Ravens given Wilson’s experience strictly at center, after selecting center Nick Samac in last years draft to back up Tyler Linderbaum. The Georgia center enters the weekend with just one full starting season of collegiate football, showing off his exceptional pass blocking ability throughout the year. On 475 pass block opportunities, Wilson surrendered just 6 total pressures, 1 quarterback hit, and 0 sacks. NFLDraftBuzz.com considers Wilson as a “priority backup” with a day 3 grade. The Ravens currently hold 8 picks on day 3 of the draft, creating a real possibility Wilson could soon be trading in the red and black, for purple and black.

WORST GAMES: @ Texas, vs Notre Dame (Sugar Bowl)
