Jesus - The Church preaches convenience Instead of Conversion. It acquiesced.

The “straight and the narrow way” is the way of Power,, God’s power, not personal ego power which puffs people up. The worst thing that one can do is to indulge in ‘sex for pleasure’ because that loses power. From the loss of power, there is a decline in frequency, called “The Fall’ Arises then the ego traits, called the ‘seven deadly sins’, and one is trapped in this world by being attracted to the glamor of this world (Satan’s hold over you). When the external view is open, and the internal view, to the life within each form, is closed, what do you do?

As darkness descends upon this vast expanse we call America, many scratch their head and stare in wide-eyed wonder at the world that once was. What happened they wonder; when – why – how? Some know the truth, millions more have chosen to evade the question. The ones who know weep, mourn and pray; others pay no attention choosing instead to embrace the moment, enjoying their leisure lifestyles; pampered and indulged. ‘But evil men and imposters will proceed from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived (2 Timothy 3:13)’.

The church too evades the question, offering hype, half-truth and hopelessness, preaching convenience instead of conversion, popular platitudes instead of The Prophets or the Psalms they teach others to do the same. Rather than fight the powers of darkness, refusing to stand for biblical truth the church in America acquiesced, fumbled and failed. ‘All scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work (2 Timothy 3:16-17)’. But faulty teaching and heretical mindsets, the preaching of an empty watered down gospel tempting the hearer to doubt and speculate the church has become entertaining and engaging; a social club for the carnal christian. Pockets of resistance exist; committed christians who choose to take a stand meet with sneers, sanctions, death threats or boycotts; but we have been warned – ‘an unjust man is detestable to the righteous, and one whose way is upright is detestable to the wicked (Proverbs 29:27)’. Remember; if the world hates you know that it hated the LORD also, and yet still do. Does the world love you? Do you love the world?

Schemes to deceive abound, be they intentional or carefully planned. ‘See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ (Colossians 2:8)’. False teachings and liberal ‘enlightened’ theologians have made a mockery of the gospel of grace, freeing man from any awareness of personal sin, guilt or shame; removing man’ accountability they offer a warped understanding of truth and a cheap and futile way of salvation.
