Jesus - The personal will is difficult, whereas the Spiritual Will, being all encompassing, is easy!

I had a difficult time putting a title to this message from Jesus, because on the surface, to the Personal Will, it seems so negative. But below the surface where the Windiness of the personal mind doesn’t reach, is a current quieter and more calm that is life-giving to the inhabitants of this deeper region. It is Mind that knows everything because it originates everything, and it is everywhere present. We term it God or Spirit, or in the Islamic world Allah (see Dr Sam’s talk in which Allah – the All breathing One.. “ah” is an aspirant – is equated with the God of the Christian or the Jew.. he uses the terms interchangeably). But just like our Great Ocean Currents are slowing and stopping because Arctic water cold enough to sink is no longer spilling over the Greenland-Scotland Ridge to start the current moving.. Just so when we cut off God, who is our greater Self, things go wrong in this world. When we are cognisant of the deeper current, we won’t let it go because it is our very life-force. AKA, as Jesus says: “The Holy Spirit” (see below). When we know it/identify with it, it is wonderful, but the personality doesn’t know it because the personality (persona meaning mask of the soul) is superficial. It lives on the surface where the winds blow.

Jesus

 …shepherd the flock of God among you, exercising oversight not under compulsion, but voluntarily, according to the will of God; and not for sordid gain, but with eagerness; nor yet as lording it over those allotted to your charge, but proving to be examples to the flock. And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory. 1 Peter 5:2-4

9/11 shook America, exposing her vulnerability, her need for God…but then. Hurricane Katrina, Harvey brought us to our knees, pensive and introspective…for awhile. A long lasting relationship with God apparently unnecessary once the crisis has passed and life returns to ‘normal’. ‘They profess to know God, but by their deeds they deny Him, being detestable and disobedient and worthless for any good deed. Titus 1:16′

Denying God, disobedient, detestable, worthless; America has forgotten the goodness of God as she pushes herself forward, goaded by hollow promises and shallow platitudes, moving deeper into sin she moves farther away from salvation. Refusing to listen, to heed the still small voice Americans push harder, sacrificing more freedom, rejecting more truth. ‘But if they will not listen, then I will uproot that nation, uproot and destroy it, declares the LORD. Jeremiah 12:17′

The bricks have fallen, but we will rebuild with finished stone; the sycamores have been felled, but we will replace them with cedars. In defiant disregard for Jehovah God America charges ahead. ‘He who rejects Me and does not receive My sayings, has one who judges him; the word I spoke is what will judge him at the last day. John 12:48′ Charting her own course, in rebellion and disobedience the nation continues down the path of certain destruction at the hand of a merciful God who desires to be her salvation, who must now become her judge.

Blood on our hands, death in our streets still the nation sees no need to repent, to change direction. Americans serve the god of this world, who gladly takes our time, our talent our youth; creating a nation of godless illiterates, pandering to the whims of the power of evil who now rule the nation. Moving swiftly toward imminent self destruction, in arrogance and pride, rebelling against Jehovah God America presses on. ‘For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12′
