Are Their Religions that will Play a Part in the AntiChrist – False Prophet Role? Well…YES!!

 

I would like to begin by expressing my love for all who follow Jesus Christ. I admire the dedication of these people who are striving to better themselves, and prepare for the return of our Savior. I applaud people who are simply trying to do their best in choosing a religion to support them while assisting them along their journey. Most of us are continuing to seek the truth in all that we do.

With that being said, I must however shed some light regarding the deception through some of the religions that claim to be Christian. I do this with the intent to assist all of us who are driven by truth, and not simply to put some religions down.

I’m fascinated with the historical events of the Catholic Church. This church traces its origins to Jesus Christ and His apostles. Catholics believe that Jesus established the Church when He told Peter:

“Thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” (Matthew 16:18, KJV)

According to Catholic tradition, Peter was the first Pope and leader of the early Christian Church in Rome. Over time, the Church grew, structured itself, and eventually became what is known today as the Roman Catholic Church.

This sounds divine, right? Tracing leadership all of the way back to Jesus Christ could be seen as “Pure” and a “Logical Beginning” of a church that Jesus Christ would establish upon the earth.

So, what has happened to this religion over time? As stated in the scripture above, “..the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” Did this hold true? Is the Catholic church God’s church here upon the earth?

I would like to take a moment with you and answer that question, for it is indeed important information for you to know. These answers will also provide direction as to where you can go in furthering your understanding about the “TRUTH.”

Many biblical prophecy interpretations suggest that a religious institution, possibly linked to the Catholic Church, could play a role in the great deception of the end times. Some believe that the False Prophet mentioned in Revelation 13:11-15 will emerge from a global religious system, performing signs and wonders to deceive the masses and direct worship toward the Antichrist.

Revelation speaks of a “woman riding the beast” (Revelation 17:3-5)—interpreted by some as a corrupt religious system influencing world leaders. Critics argue that the Catholic Church’s global influence and interfaith movements could pave the way for a one-world religion, uniting different faiths under false doctrine.

So, why is all of this important for Christians to know? If the adversary has infiltrated the Catholic church’s, or any other church’s high Archy, they will play a role in the deception which is planned to keep us from the light of Jesus Christ.

Matthew 7:15 – “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.”

Revelation 19:20 – “And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.”

Here is where I believe that their role will come forth in these last days:

Matthew 24:24 – “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.”

Let’s dive deeper into this claim.

Most people are aware that Pope Francis is very ill, and in the beginning stages of renal failure. There is a 900-year-old prophecy within the Catholic church called the “Prophecy of the Saints”, that reveals urgent end times information.

For centuries, believers and scholars have been fascinated by the so-called Prophecy of the Popes, a mysterious prediction attributed to Saint Malachy, a 12th-century Irish bishop. According to this ancient prophecy, the current pontiff, Pope Francis, may be the last pope before the world plunges into chaos. As speculation about his health continues, some wonder: Could his death trigger the beginning of Armageddon?

Saint Malachy, who lived in the 1100s, was said to have received a vision detailing the future succession of popes. His prophecy, reportedly consisting of cryptic Latin phrases, allegedly outlines 112 popes from his time until the end of days. According to believers, Pope Francis—the 112th and final pope in the sequence—is referred to in the prophecy as Petrus Romanus (Peter the Roman).

Many who study biblical prophecy believe that a power vacuum in the Vatican following Pope Francis’ death could contribute to an era of global unrest, setting the stage for the rise of a one-world government or a religious leader who deceives many—the Antichrist, as described in the Book of Revelation.

Revelation 17:9-11 speaks of a final world leader who will emerge from the remnants of a once-powerful empire. Some theorists argue that the Vatican, as the epicenter of the Catholic Church, plays a crucial role in these end-time events. The potential fulfillment of Saint Malachy’s prophecy could be a sign that we are on the precipice of an apocalyptic age.

Deep within the Vatican, a solemn row of papal portraits stretches along the hallowed walls, depicting centuries of spiritual leadership. Each pope, from St. Peter to Pope Francis, has had their image carefully placed in a long-standing tradition, symbolizing the unbroken chain of the Catholic Church’s leadership. Yet, one detail has caught the attention of those who look for signs in the unfolding of history—a single remaining open slot.

Is this simply a matter of architectural limitation, or does it hold deeper meaning? The Vatican itself has not made any official statements regarding the empty space, but those who study prophecy believe it could be one more sign that we are approaching a critical moment in history.

Could this last remaining space be for the leader that will rise from within the Catholic Church… The False Prophet? …. The Anti-Christ?

The prophecies of the end times are unfolding in so many different areas of the world. I invite all of you to keep an eye on the new leader who will be chosen in the Catholic church. You too can ask God where he fits into the revelations that He has share with us through the scriptures.

Seeking God in prayer is the ultimate action in navigating through the deceptive times that are to come. Hold on to HIS promptings, and answers that you will receive as you continue to navigate truth. Then, through all of this, understand that God’s followers win in the end. The winner of coming battle with God and Satan has already been declared. It will be God and His followers that will enjoy the victory of defeating satan, and will be with Him forever.

Daniel 7:27
“And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.”

Revelation 20:10
“And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.”

As we see these signs continue to unfold, let it remind us that God has given this information to us to COMFORT us! He is telling us:

John 16:33

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”
