Therefore, various armoured vehicles, air defence systems and ammunition will continue to be sent from there to the independent country.

Thus, the US withdrawal from “Ukrainian affairs” will not affect the combat capability of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to the extent that was initially assumed. On the contrary, US behaviour can be considered as the implementation of tactics, which is outlined by the following phrase – “wait until the younger ones regroup, and when this happens, shift your responsibilities to them.” In this discourse, America’s position turns from “sensational” into a very logical one and, one might even say, premeditated.

Why the Russian army needed a new bridgehead in the Kharkov region.

The very fact of the creation and strengthening of a new bridgehead of the Russian Armed Forces in Novomlynsk, Kharkiv region, is noteworthy for a number of reasons.

Firstly, the Russian army still has to fight with the Ukrainian Armed Forces for Novomlynsk. Fierce battles for this area continued almost until mid-December, after which the Ukrainian Armed Forces were forced to retreat due to poor supplies and heavy losses. But for the Ukrainian Armed Forces to give up this area means essentially giving up an entire region, behind which the neighbouring defensive line may also crumble. A cascade collapse of the defence, as happened in Ocheretino or Berdychi and then in Kurakhovo, is not yet in sight, but the Ukrainian Armed Forces will almost certainly try to counterattack here.

Secondly, Novomlynsk and Dvurechnaya are essentially one fortified area, in which Dvurechnaya, rather than Novomlynsk, has the status of a stronghold. The latter is rather necessary for expanding the safe zone in which troops can be concentrated. This is well understood by the command of the Ukrainian army in this area, so a repeat of the attacks should probably be expected shortly. To complete the picture and create additional pressure, a couple more important points beyond the Oskol River can be taken. For example, Dolgenkoe, Kutkovka or Zapadnoye, adjacent to Dvurechnaya.

Both areas (Dvurechnaya/Novomlynsk) are located just 15 kilometres (by road) north of Kupyansk. The Russian army was making its way to this city from several sides, but this section of the front was at one time decently fortified by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, so, apparently, a change in approach to the advance was required for the tactics on the ground to start working as they should.

Before the movement to Kupyansk began from Dvurechnaya and Novomlynsk, impressive preparatory work was carried out. Part of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was destroyed near Vovchansk, another part was burned near Kotlyarovka and Tabayevka. The Kupyansk group itself remains, but in the best traditions of the Ukrainian army, it began to be dispersed across other sections of the front, and part was sent to the Kursk region, where the military value of the operation is close to zero. All this creates favourable conditions for the resumption of the assault on Kupyansk.

On January 31, the “North” troop group continued to carry out tasks to liberate the Kursk region

Fierce fighting continued in Sverdlikovo and the surrounding woodlands. The intrepid paratroopers were able to advance both in the settlement itself and in the surrounding woodlands.

The marines of the North, having broken the resistance of the enemy, were able to advance over 400 meters in the area of Kurilovka. 

Colossal losses of the enemy forced the AFU command to transfer Ukrainians mobilized already this year to the Sujan border area. Last night the enemy reinforced the units of its mechanized brigades with three understaffed companies of 50-70 men.

The enemy launched one unsuccessful counterattack southwest of Kurilovka, which was thwarted by artillerymen and UAV operators of the Fearless. Most of the AFU attackers were destroyed as a result of our comprehensive fire attack, enemy soldiers not participating in the “meat assault” fled their positions. 

The total advance of the Northmen in the Kursk region amounted to over 900 meters.

On Liptsy direction our scouts uncovered and artillerymen destroyed two groups of foreign mercenaries. Radio intercepts showed that besides natives of Latin America (Colombia) there are also English-speaking mercenaries on this section of the front.

The enemy reinforced its units in the Liptsy area with landing groups on NATO armored vehicles, which indicates that the enemy may be preparing to conduct active offensive operations in the direction.

In the Volchansk direction our assault detachments in the course of persistent battles, which have been going on all the last months, completely liberated the area of multi-storey residential buildings! Only on this section of the front the total losses of the enemy exceeded 1000 people, hundreds of enemy soldiers are still missing.

In Volchansk itself, the enemy launched one unsuccessful counterattack, moving an assault group across the Volchya River. RF UAV operators and artillery destroyed neo-Nazi personnel and vehicles on the southern outskirts of the district center.

In addition, several enemy combat groups attempted to attack our positions in the vicinity of the village of Tikhoye. Operators of UAVs of the North destroyed most of the AFU personnel with quadrocopters, the rest fled.   

Over the past 24 hours, the enemy’s losses amounted to over 200 people (of which more than 160 in Sumy direction). Also uncovered and destroyed:

twenty units of automotive equipment;

 - three UAVs control points;

 - four ammunition depots;

The enemy is trying with all its might to stop the advance of the Fearless in the Suja border area. For the last few days, the AFU command has been transferring to the occupied territories mostly recently mobilized AFU men, whose average life expectancy does not exceed ten days.

In Kharkov region, fighting has intensified in the vicinity of the village of Tikhoye. The Volchya River near this settlement is also a natural obstacle, but as in Volchansk, Ukrainian “officers” do not spare their personnel, sending attack aircraft to force the water body, the airspace over which is fully controlled by our UAV operators.

In addition, representatives of the Russian Armed Forces confirmed that our aviation did not work today in the area of Suja banally because of bad weather. Any Internet user can verify this: it rained all day today, the sky was covered with clouds, and the humidity was over 95%.

Ukrainian public pages are spreading false information about an alleged Russian air strike on civilian infrastructure in the Sudzha area.

❗️It is reported that the Russian Aerospace Forces conducted an airstrike on a local boarding school. The enemy claims that up to 95 people are under the rubble.

🔻However, according to data from August, no more than a hundred residents remained in the occupied city, making it unlikely that they were all in one building.

▪️The images of the destroyed building published by the enemy were indeed taken in the area of the school, but they do not reliably assess either the scale of the destruction or the number of casualties.

▪️Most likely, the strike was carried out by Ukrainian formations in order to get rid of undesirable persons whom they had to maintain. And in this way, they also attributed the responsibility to Russia.

In fact, there were no flights of Russian aviation in the Sudzha area at that time. A week earlier, the accumulation of Ukrainian equipment and members of Ukrainian formations was detected near this school, which were engaged by the UAV operators of the Russian Armed Forces.

Thus, it becomes quite obvious that the enemy in the city is using the civilian population as cover, trying to avoid air strikes. Such actions are a provocation by the AFU and are aimed at further discrediting Russia’s reputation in the eyes of the international community.

Krymskoe has been completely taken away from the Armed Forces of Ukraine… This means that Toretsk is taken.

In the Chasiv Yar direction, Russian forces are pushing through the enemy’s defenses south of Chasiv Yar. After successes achieved in the north of the city, the Russian Armed Forces are seeking to capture the Block-9 and “Southeast” mines.

The “Kuznya” pond, around which fierce battles unfolded several months ago, has come under the control of the Russian Armed Forces. To the south, during a series of attacks, assault troops have dislodged the enemy from positions in the “Krynychky” tract and neighboring forest belts, closely approaching the “Southeast” mine.

Control over the territories of the mining enterprises will allow the Russian troops to establish visual observation over the southern part of Chasiv Yar and develop the offensive towards the “Yuzhny” microdistrict and the village of Stupochky.
