6. Son steals father’s corpse and stores it in a freezer
A 48-year-old man was arrested by Detroit police for stealing his father’s corpse from a local cemetery in January. The man was hoping his father would be brought back to life. Read more

A BB gun-wielding woman allegedly fired shots at a car of people that stopped near her home to explore a haunted tunnel. She was charged with five counts of aggravated assault for the incident in June but the case was dismissed in August and all charges were dropped. Read more

3. Officers find spirit seekers that are actually lost meth makers
Three ghost hunters got busted this summer in North Carolina after authorities found out that they were really drug-dealing entrepreneurs and were planning on setting up a hidden meth lab in the woods.
