At a Christmas market in Magdeburg, 11 people were killed and 60 injured when cars collided.
Eyewitnesses say a car deliberately headed towards the crowd at the town hall.
The driver has been arrested.

One person has been killed and ‘around 60-80 injured’ after a car was driven into a crowd of people at a Christmas market in the eastern German city of Magdeburg.

There are rumors that the driver was a Syrian Muslim migrant, but that has not been confirmed.
Nonetheless, this could be a vehicular jihad attack. Germany just announced that it was no longer going to accept Syrian asylum seekers; the driver could have considered that an offense worthy of a jihad response.
A Muslim teen was recently arrested in Germany for plotting a vehicular jihad attack at a Christmas market. Another vehicular jihadi in Germany recently wounded 31 people. Yet another said he did it “on behalf of Allah.”
