Four Ways the Book of Revelation Is Encoded with a MegaQuake and Four Clues for Crisis May 13

The best-selling book in history ends with a poorly understood book of Revelation that sounds like BAD NEWS, but it’s actually great news for those who are willing to understand it’s message.

An example is the word “judgment” that we hate to face because negative experiences in court where we don’t understand legal terms and need a lawyer to do well, but laws, codes and policies are often stacked against us..
I paid hundreds of dollars for failing to make a complete stop, though no one was coming.

The Bible’s concept of judgment is like the Chinese word for crisis. It has two characters: danger + opportunity and the book of Daniel that Christ said to understand (Matthew 24), shows God as judge and deliverer in a crisiskrisis  is the Greek word for “judgment” in Revelation 14 that appears to be impending for four reasons. .

  1. We hear, “No man knows the day or hour,” but Christ ended the sentence with “BUT as the days of Noah” when the Flood had “9-11” Passover timing based on Numbers 9:10,11 in the 2ndspring month. I believe He was cluing us so we could observe the 9-11 time biblically and have His protection as suggested–
“ As He ate the Passover with His disciples, He instituted in its place the service that was to be the memorial of His great sacrifice.” The Desire of Ages, p 652.2  If we invited friends for a special exercise of faith, we could get a box of Wheat Thins or Triscuits and a bottle of  grape juice for Monday evening, May 12 and afterwards, “watch and pray” as Christ asked His disciples, but they failed and then ran. History took a bad turn but could resume for us if, instead of sleeping, we can eat the Lamb spiritually by reviewing the closing scense of His life in the above biography that was most recommended for many years in our Library of Congress. (They no longer make any recommendations but offer a list.) Pray for faith to endure the end.
  2. “If a man took a long trip and couldn’t get back for Passover, he was to keep it in May (2nd month) because Passover represented judgment that all must face–long trip is how Christ ended, Matt 25:13,14.” (Ruhling)
  3. New England had a Dark Day on May 19, 1780—unexplainably dark and Christians took it as a sign of Christ’s coming. (Google, https://legacy.egwwritings.org/?ref=en_GC.306.2&para=132.1401) But it repeated on the 200th anniversary when Mt St Helens erupted and wind carried its ashes to darken 3 NW states on May 19, 1980. Too amazing for mere coincidence, Ruhling believes God was marking May 19 for the future. This year, May 19 has unique timing as it falls on the last day of the “9-11” Passover… time of judgment?
  4. Handel’s Messiah is an oratorio heard by millions of Christians in the holiday seasons since 1741. It has a startling announcement that God “will shake the heavens and the earth….and the desire of all nations will come.” Haggai 2:6,7.  The date given three times for the foundation in Haggai’s time had no earthquake.

With news from Jerusalem of a 3rd temple for a High Priest just chosen by Jewish leaders and expectations to be built soon, Ruhling offers a more inclusive alternative view of Haggai dates, verses10,18,20.

After next week’s earthquake (encoded four ways to be explained), seven weeks bring Pentecost with an implied decree to restore Jerusalem in Daniel 9:24,25 where 70 weeks point to an exciting date for Jews in Haggai 2—it’s the day before Hanukkah when the foundation of God’s temple will be done, but not a Jewish temple to kill lambs. Ruhling says, “God doesn’t need animal sacrifices pointing to the Lamb in Isaiah 53 because a Jewish prophet proclaimed “the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world” (John 1:29) and Christ fulfilled the prophecies.”

The 3rd temple needs to include Christians, Muslims–anyone who wants to be part of God’s kingdom according to His guidelines that offer health and happiness. Ruhling opines of Messiah, anointing at the end of 69 weeks, Daniel 9:25. “You are the temple of God” said Rabbi ShaulPaul in 1Corinthians 3:16 if we understand John 3:16 of God’s love for the world—not just Jews, but , Joel 3:16 for Jews or Muslims who may not understand until “the Lord shall roar from Jerusalem…heavens and earth shall shake.”   And it is encoded four ways in Revelation.

  1. The Rule of 1st Use is based on Christ as “the Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last” (Revelation 1:11) and Christ is also the Word (John 1). As the Word, He is consistent for words that may be encoded for later use in an end-time application. “History repeats” and “what is to come has been already.” Ecclesiastes 3:15

1st example: John heard “a great voice as of a trumpet.” The 1st place “trumpet” is found is Exodus 19 when God came to Sinai with the Ten Commandments. It was a mini-Judgment Day—a confrontation with God and His law when the mountain shook (earthquake, fear) as the trumpets waxed louder. History repeats for an opportunity to be part of God’s kingdom if we make wise choices with impending events. (Ruhling)

  1. The 2nd encoding of the earthquake is seen in Revelation 1:15. His voice “as the sound of many waters.” We appreciate Google’s ability to link word, like pizza and Prescott. Google is successful partly due to its copying this Bible principle of context. In this case, Isaiah was called to be a prophet for God in the context of the sea roaring in the verse before Isaiah 6 where “the posts of the door moved” at God’s voice, verse 4. The point is that we might be called to live for God as prophets, proclaiming Biblical messages that apply.
  2. The 3rd encoding example is the earthquake that brought an end to the ancient church of Laodicea because it was lukewarm with materialism as western Christianity is today. “Christ/Truth (John 14:6) is kept outside as we hear sermons so smooth that we can swallow them without chewing,” says Ruhling, noting a warning, “Beware the leaven of Pharisees” meaning their doctrines were light, Matthew 16:12. So the knock was an encoded earthquake that destroyed the church building in Laodicea circa 63 AD, a serious “knock” for us?
  3. When “the Lord shall roar* from Jerusalem…heavens and earth shall shake” Joel 3:16. This could be after a Muslim attack of Jerusalem as forecast in Zechariah’s last chapter, 1 *Christ is Lion of Judah, Rev 5:5.
