We have domesticated the Bombyx mori silk moth for thousands of years. With no need for flight to survive, as their mates are brought directly to them and they have no predators to escape, they have lost the use of their wings. This illustrated, risograph printed book incorporates silk spun by City Farmer silkworms in the body of the moth on the cover. This Feeling of Safety is about the comfort of a safety net, and what we give up in exchange for it.
