Councillor Zadrozny, who still leads Ashfield District Council, said: “I’ve had senior officers in tears to me today saying they’re looking for other jobs because they’re just terrified at the public services that they’ve worked and cared for being thrown out the window by not just inexperienced councillors, but people who have a very set view of the world. I had one in tears to me today saying ‘I hope they make me redundant’ and that was a director.”
