New Year’s resolution: monied power [not money per se] is the root of all evil

I’ve been a Manchester United supporter since 1956.

“This is no time for self-pity” I hear you cry.

But two nights ago, I went to a popular footie bar here in Senegambia to watch my team lose at home 2-0 to Newcastle United.

It was – by a country mile and without fear of contradiction – the most tactically disorganised, unambitious, ineffectual, boring, lethargic, plodding, talentless, uncreative, headless-chicken, third rate and demotivated MUFC team performance I have witnessed during sixty-eight years as a fan.

It was, dear reader, akin to watching eleven eunuchs trying to score with Islamic Messenger General Mohammed’s Harem. Yes, it was that bad. And yet, it was an entirely apt end to 2024…a year that proved to be a non-stop cavalcade of puerile mendacious denialism funded by incontinent monied persuasion at a personal and geopolitical level.

The disgrace of all United’s performance lies the key to ‘getting’ this, the first Slogpost of 2025, viz: money without honour will always be bad money thrown after good. The sickness in the legendary Manchester United club is a symptom of what contiued to go wrong among our species during 2024.

It was a year in which we were told Zelensky was on the verge of victory in the Ukraine, that Greater Israel had a God-given right to exist, that Bidenite sovereign debt wasn’t out of control, that the new Syrian regime wasn’t a triumph for rabid fundamentalism, that EU nations from Sweden to France would embrace conscription in order to fight Russian megalomania…and Anthony Fauci must be pardoned before anyone had the audacity to suggest he’d done anything other than seek Gain of Function for something as yet to be defined.

At a more micro level, 2024 was a year in which the holder of my head-lease lied in order to sell me a blighted property, a person I had counted as a trustworthy business partner sold me down the river for power and money that proved to be illusory, workmen in my apartment block casually trespassed on my land to steal the highly valued tea leaves off my Moringo tree, the UK Department of Work and Pensions tried to stop my State pension, I was diagnosed with osteoporosis of the lower spine after slipping down a cliff, a taxi-driver I’d saved from ruin started cheating me on the fares he charged, a woman who’d defaulted on an interest free loan I gave her falsely accused me of rape, a bloke I’d raised money for welched on an agreement to supply wholesale fruit and veg, a tenant did a runner owing me 15,000 GMD….and a wannabe bus service founder bought a dog of a vehicle that left me the proud owner of a pile of scrap metal, while a CT scan revealed erectile dysfunction, impaired kidney function and peripheral neuropathy as side effects of the osteoporosis.

All of which helps explain why I was happier than most to put the pivotal year of 2024 behind me.

But what are the signs if any that 2025 will be any better?

In 2024, the Secret State and its media-whore falsehood peddlers published fifty assertions in America and worldwide all of which were devoid of any truth whatsoever. There’s an excellent piece at Just Facts auditing this sad perversion of the Fourth Estate….but more to the point, the examples JF enumerates are clearly ongoing….that’s to say, the BS myths will continue to justify American elite behaviour that is unpardonable – while still being believed by a disturbing percentage of voters.

Scott Ritter’s passport is still revoked. He is effectively a political prisoner in his own country, the USA.

In most Sovereign nations, the nutjobs are still in power….from Canada via Carmel McCormack we learn that Justin Castro is as mad as ever and there are plenty like him up to the same New World Order nonsense.

In a brilliant post yesterday, Dr Robert Malone [the discoverer of mRNA] records with wonderful irony that, “…for the first time in history, the ineffectiveness of a medicine is being blamed on those who haven’t taken it”.

Specifically, he nails with clinical accuracy the reality that ‘”bird flu” is another psyop campaign conducted by the administrative/deep state, apparently in partnership with Pharma, against the American people. They know and we know that the “vaccines” being produced will be somewhat ineffective, as all flu “vaccines” are. The government is chasing a rapidly evolving RNA virus with a syringe, just like they did with HIV and C-19. Generally, the currently circulating avian influenza strain in the US does not include any cases of human-to-human transmission. And the current mortality, with over 60 cases identified, is 0%. NOT 50%’.

By and large, however, blind faith in mRNA vaccination is still a majority view in the US, the UK, France and ECOWAS Black Africa. What I find most unsettling about the citizen gullibility involved is that the tendency to cling on to the idea of mRNA effectiveness is far stronger among the highly-educated bourgeoisie than among blue collar workers: as always (I have found on my travels) it’s the taxi-drivers, cleaning ladies, pay-check Americans, receptionists, poc ethnics and poor folks generally that assume the worst when it comes to what the State and its suppliers/bureaucrats are really up to.

The last Great American George Carlin said towards the end of his life, “I have a simple policy approach to government information….I don’t believe a word they say….not one fuckin’ word”. That’s as much on the money as anything you’ll ever read in the unfolding 21^st century.

Last but not least, Martin Armstrong of Armstrong Economics writes today as follows:

‘Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts came out strong against what has been encroaching upon the very foundation of our tripartite government. Mainly, the Democrats have been attacking the court for overruling Roe vs Wade’s abortion ruling, which was clearly outrageously unconstitutional. The Democrats have no problem discriminating against anyone who has money they want to get their hands on. Suddenly, there is no Equal Protection of the Law’

While I’m not an unalloyed fan of Armstrong [I don’t entirely buy into his ‘history as guide to future’ model of analysis] his paragraph above gets right to the core of the assault on Civil Rights that drives heroes like Jessica Rose, Meryl Nass, Reiner Fuellmich, Rand Paul and Adam Smith-Connor onward. God bless them every one.

Regular Sloggers have read these Slogarithms many times over the years, but they bear repetition:

The greatest single trend in the third quarter of my life has been the migration of power away from elected assemblies towards a corporate, bureaucratic, banking, pharmaceutical, technological and bourse complex that is usually above the Law and increasingly unaccountable. Holding Power to Account thus remains the single most important job of every commentator.

In that context, the passage of December 31^st 2024 into January 1^st 2025 is irrelevant.

If I may, I would like to close today by sharing with you this extract from an email I sent to one of my closest friends on Earth earlier this week:

‘While 2024 has represented by far the most frustrating twelve months of my life, it has taught me two very inspiring things: first, if you look hard enough, every rule about human dysfunction has its exceptional heroes; and second, life enjoyment is simplified by simply spotting the c**ts, cutting off all debate with them completely, boycotting their nefarious schemes and focussing on the twin needs to play to one’s strengths and prepare to avoid penury.

Shit year or not, I’m emerging far better equipped for what may or may not lie ahead. And that has to be a win.

I refuse to engage with the blind opportunists any further. The goal going forward is to plan and invest not for profit, but to avoid being cleaned out (or even wiped out) by the digitalising genocidal tendency. I am whittling the local supplier contact down to the dozen or so honourable folks whose behaviour proves that they can be trusted. Rather than depressed, I feel refreshed.’
