Debate Over Two Tier Justice System in UK

Despite this, the backlash has led to the suspension of the new guidance, with Downing Street refusing to rule out abolishing the Sentencing Council altogether.
This debate has sparked broader discussions about bias in the justice system, with some arguing that the guidelines were an attempt to correct existing inequalities, while others see them as an unacceptable form of social engineering
