Prophetic Similarities in Catholic End-Times Prophecies

Catholic prophecies about the end times, including those attributed to St. Malachy, Our Lady of Guadalupe, Lourdes, Fatima, Garabandal, and Medjugorje, share thematic elements such as tribulation, purification of the Church, divine intervention, and spiritual renewal. Below, I outline key prophetic messages from each, arranged in chronological order by the date of the apparition or prophecy, highlighting their interconnected motifs, particularly the roles of a final pope, Church persecution, divine warnings, and a triumph of faith.

1. St. Malachy’s Prophecy of the Popes (1139)

  • Overview: Attributed to St. Malachy, a 12th-century Irish bishop, this prophecy lists 112 cryptic Latin mottos predicting popes from Celestine II (1143) to a final pope, “Peter the Roman.”

  • Key Prophetic Messages:

  • Final Pope (“Peter the Roman”): The prophecy concludes with “Peter the Roman,” who will “feed his flock amid many tribulations, after which the seven-hilled city [Rome] will be destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the people.” This suggests a last pontificate during apocalyptic events.

  • Church Persecution: The “final persecution of the Holy Roman Church” implies severe trials for the Church.

  • Destruction of Rome: The fall of the “seven-hilled city” points to a cataclysmic event affecting Rome, possibly signaling the end times.

2. Our Lady of Guadalupe (1531)

  • Overview: The Virgin Mary appeared to Juan Diego in Mexico, leaving her image on his tilma and delivering messages to foster faith in the New World. While not explicitly eschatological, her messages carry universal themes tied to end-times prophecies.

  • Key Prophetic Messages:

  • Maternal Protection and Conversion: Mary presented herself as the “Mother of all” who brings people to her Son, urging conversion and trust in her intercession. This aligns with the call to faith in end-times trials seen in other prophecies.

  • Triumph Through Faith: The rapid conversion of millions in Mexico following the apparition reflects a triumph of faith, prefiguring the spiritual victories promised in later prophecies like Fatima and Medjugorje. The tilma’s enduring miraculous image symbolizes divine presence amid challenges.

  • Defense Against Evil: The image’s symbolism (e.g., Mary standing on the moon, crushing the serpent) draws from Revelation 12, often interpreted as a sign of her role in the final battle against evil, resonating with end-times themes of divine victory.

3. Lourdes (1858)

  • Overview: The Virgin Mary appeared to Bernadette Soubirous in Lourdes, France, identifying herself as the “Immaculate Conception” and delivering messages focused on prayer and penance.

  • Key Prophetic Messages:

  • Call to Repentance and Prayer: Mary urged “penance, penance, penance” and prayer for sinners, emphasizing conversion to avert divine judgment, a theme resonant with end-times calls for spiritual renewal.

  • Healing and Purification: The miraculous spring at Lourdes, which Mary instructed Bernadette to uncover, symbolizes spiritual and physical purification, paralleling the Church’s cleansing in other prophecies.

  • Marian Devotion: Mary’s request for a chapel and processions underscores her role as a guide through trials, aligning with her promised triumph in later prophecies like Fatima and Garabandal.

4. Fatima (1917)

  • Overview: The Virgin Mary appeared to three children in Fatima, Portugal, delivering messages including three secrets, with the third revealed in 2000, often linked to end-times themes.

  • Key Prophetic Messages:

  • Persecution of the Church and Pope: The third secret depicts a “bishop dressed in white” (presumed to be the pope) climbing a hill through a ruined city, killed by soldiers alongside clergy and laity, suggesting intense persecution.

  • Triumph of the Immaculate Heart: Mary promised, “In the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph,” indicating purification followed by spiritual renewal after Russia’s conversion.

  • Call to Repentance: The messages urge prayer (Rosary), penance, and Russia’s consecration to prevent wars and suffering caused by humanity’s sins.

5. Garabandal (1961–1965)

  • Overview: The Virgin Mary allegedly appeared to four girls in San Sebastián de Garabandal, Spain, with messages about a “Warning,” “Miracle,” and potential “Chastisement.”

  • Key Prophetic Messages:

  • Three Popes and the “End of the Times”: In 1963, Mary reportedly said, “After this pope [John XXIII], there will be only three, and after that will be the end of the times,” with a later mention of a fourth pope reigning briefly (fulfilled by John Paul I). The “end of the times” aligns with Fatima’s triumph, suggesting Church purification.

  • Warning, Miracle, and Chastisement: The Warning is a global “illumination of conscience” revealing personal sins. The Miracle, expected on a Thursday in April, would leave a permanent sign in Garabandal. A Chastisement could follow if humanity does not repent, indicating trials and divine intervention.

  • Church Crisis: Messages warn that many clergy are leading souls astray, pointing to internal Church corruption.

6. Medjugorje (1981–Present)

  • Overview: The Virgin Mary allegedly appeared to six visionaries in Medjugorje, Bosnia-Herzegovina, delivering ongoing messages about peace, conversion, and future events.

  • Key Prophetic Messages:

  • Ten Secrets: The visionaries claim Mary entrusted them with ten secrets, some concerning future chastisements or global events, to be revealed before they occur. These secrets suggest a period of trial, akin to Garabandal’s Chastisement or Fatima’s warnings.

  • Call to Conversion: Mary emphasizes prayer (Rosary), fasting, confession, and Mass to prepare for coming challenges, warning that “the time of grace” will end, urging repentance before the secrets unfold.

  • Triumph of Mary’s Heart: Messages speak of Mary’s heart triumphing through humanity’s return to God, echoing Fatima’s “Immaculate Heart” triumph and Garabandal’s “end of the times” renewal.

Shared Themes Across These Prophecies:

Final Pope or Pivotal Papacy:

  • St. Malachy: “Peter the Roman” leads during tribulation and Rome’s fall.

  • Fatima: The third secret’s “bishop in white” suggests a martyred pope.

  • Garabandal: The “end of the times” follows a sequence of popes, implying a significant pontificate.

  • Connection: These prophecies highlight a climactic papal role, possibly involving martyrdom or leadership through crisis. Guadalupe, Lourdes, and Medjugorje emphasize Mary’s guidance during trials, complementing this theme without directly referencing a pope.

Persecution and Church Crisis:

  • St. Malachy: The “final persecution” and Rome’s destruction indicate Church trials.

  • Fatima: The third secret shows a persecuted Church and martyred pope.

  • Garabandal: Messages warn of corrupt clergy and a broader Church crisis.

  • Medjugorje: The secrets imply global trials affecting the Church, with warnings of spiritual decline.

  • Connection: These foresee internal and external threats to the Church, requiring purification. Guadalupe and Lourdes focus on spiritual renewal but implicitly support the Church’s endurance through Mary’s intercession.

Destruction or Transformation of Rome:

  • St. Malachy: Rome, the “seven-hilled city,” is destroyed.

  • Fatima: The third secret’s “ruined city” suggests an attack on Rome.

  • Garabandal: The “end of the times” implies upheaval, possibly affecting Rome as the Church’s center.

  • Connection: Rome is a focal point for cataclysmic change, literal or symbolic. Guadalupe, Lourdes, and Medjugorje emphasize spiritual triumph over physical destruction but align with the need for purification.

Divine Intervention and Triumph:

  • St. Malachy: The “dreadful Judge” signals divine judgment post-tribulation.

  • Fatima: The Immaculate Heart’s triumph promises peace after trials.

  • Garabandal: The Warning and Miracle are divine acts leading to the “end of the times.”

  • Medjugorje: The secrets include divine interventions, with Mary’s heart triumphing.

  • Lourdes: The miraculous spring and Mary’s intercession symbolize divine healing and guidance.

  • Guadalupe: The tilma and mass conversions reflect divine victory, echoing Revelation’s “woman clothed with the sun” triumphing over evil.

  • Connection: Each prophecy emphasizes divine action—judgment, miracles, or purification—culminating in spiritual victory.

Call to Repentance and Prayer:

  • St. Malachy: Implicitly urges preparation for the end times.

  • Guadalupe: Encourages conversion and trust in Mary’s maternal care, fostering devotion to avert spiritual peril.

  • Lourdes: Urges “penance” and prayer for sinners.

  • Fatima: Calls for Rosary, penance, and Russia’s consecration.

  • Garabandal: Stresses prayer, penance, and Eucharistic devotion.

  • Medjugorje: Emphasizes prayer, fasting, and conversion before the secrets unfold.

  • Connection: Repentance, prayer, and Marian devotion are central to navigating prophesied trials.

Conclusion

St. Malachy, Guadalupe, Lourdes, Fatima, Garabandal, and Medjugorje share prophetic themes of a pivotal papacy, Church persecution, Rome’s transformation, divine intervention, and urgent calls to repentance. Fatima, Garabandal, and Medjugorje explicitly foresee a Marian triumph, while Guadalupe and Lourdes emphasize conversion and purification through Mary’s intercession, and Malachy focuses on a final judgment. Together, they depict tribulation leading to spiritual renewal, with Mary guiding humanity toward God’s plan.

And finally words from the one they call the Holy Prophet: Michael A Harr  <

Holy Roman Catholic Church, Cardinals, Archbishops and other fellow clergy. You have rejected the Prophet Elijah’s message of the return of Yeshua (Jesus) as @LORD_RAYEL . You have rejected relinquishing the Throne of Peter to its rightful heir and King. For this reason, God’s word will be realized, and the prophecy of Malachy, whom God gave the message to, will come to fruition. The ground beneath your feet will quake and crack, and the Lord your God will reclaim that which is his by right! There will be NO MORE POPES! Fire and shaking will consume the City of 7 Hills, Vatican City. There will be no more church, there will be no more leadership! For the leadership (Cardinals) of the Roman Catholic church has failed at their ONE JOB… to prepare the throne of Peter for the Messiah. Therefore, cursed is your temple, cursed is your leadership, and cursed is the Roman Catholic church. The ground will swallow it up, and fire and ash will rain down upon it, burning it all up to the ground. For the Lord your God is a jealous God and he will not suffer to have his words to become vain. Everything he has spoken will come to pass for HIS name’s sake and to glorify his name. For you will now know that @LORD_RAYEL IS the LIVING GOD and the one true King of all Kings, anointed by the Prophet Elijah, ruler of the Earth. The time has come! No more delay! Destruction has come upon you. For the Lord has spoken! The Throne of Peter and the Throne of David is his by birthright! The time of your judgement has come, it will not delay any longer, for you are an arrogant and insolent people. The Lord has chosen a NEW PRIESTHOOD that honors and glorifies his name and obeys his laws, commandments and edicts. Who uphold God’s ways and laws. You have perverted God’s laws and festivals. You have destroyed God’s appointed times and calendar. You have twisted his doctrine and claimed you can change his ways and laws. You are heretical, you are the false prophet! Your empire will be thrown down into dust never to rise again. You and all those who are in alliance with your perverted ways and blasphemies will be cast in the lake of fire. For the time of your judgement is at hand, and there will be no more delay. Your time for repentance is over! Destruction and judgment have come upon you as it comes upon a pregnant woman in labor, and she cannot escape it. Thus,to,o you shall not escape your judgement and punishment. The time of your end is now, there will be no further delays. Your end will be with fire and with a great earthquake that will swallow up your temple and throw down your stones and idols. For you rejected the messengers of God, and the Messiah, you have rejected his laws, statutes, commandments, and edict,s and have profaned his Holy Name. Thus, your destruction will be sudden and swift. It will come upon you without warning. It will be complete and you will be blotted out, and you will know that the Lord, the God of hosts, did this to you to glorify his name and the name of his Son, forever. Amen
