Is This the False Prophet of Revelation?

Recently we saw the passing of the Pope and maybe the passing of a sacred religion. As we get closer to the time of the end there have been events that scream loudly that the Messiah is soon to appear. But do consider His soon return has the potential of cutting through the darkness of all faiths that rely upon human wisdom as their foundation. His return will also shatter the myth that all Christian sects are serving Jesus as the Way, the Truth and the Life. Where we all fall short is based on a natural viewpoint of our King and His Kingdom.

Do you remember the tower of Babel? That was also a self centered agenda due to man attempting to enter heaven on his own terms. We’ve seen this motivation even from the start. Adam and Eve had two sons and these two intended to bring a sacrifice before the Lord. One brought to the alter an acceptable offering, yet the other brought an offering of his own design and was soon rejected by God. The later example explains the root of religion and why we have so many divergent faiths to sort through. But do consider that the blood bought Christian is continually confronted by the same two choices. Life and faith is either held in God’s hands or it’s held within our own.

One subject that requires a heavenly view point pertains to the return of Jesus/Yeshua. When we view matters pertaining to the end of days we look for events in the natural that coincide with the biblical narrative. Hence we look for events that retain world wide significance. The Holy Spirit then reminds us to consider our ways which is often followed by a warning to get our house in order. Personally, I’m convinced He’s been warning us since 2020. This is what we have seen unfolding since that first event:

What we can now add to this list is the emergence of a potential “False prophet” spoken of in the book of Revelation.

Revelation 19:20 But the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who had performed the signs on its behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped its image….

Most recently a character has emerged on the world stage to declare himself as the “Mahdi”. His name is Abdullah Hashem Aba Al-Sadiq; the son of an Egyptian father and an American mother.

The role of the “Mahdi” is an Islamic prophet and a descendent of Muhammad who seeks to rid the world of evil darkness during the end of days. If you have been waiting for a biblical false prophet to be revealed then this may very well be your man.

What makes this prophet so compelling as a character on the world stage is the timing of his appearing and the claims that he is making. He calls himself a prophet and declares himself to be the true and legitimate Pope, as well as the successor of all prophetic voices that have come before him. By his claims he establishes himself as the only true voice of god and declares all others as of little consequence.

We don’t have to go deep into his message to understand the deception. If you bypass Jesus/Yeshua as God and Savior then you are bound to breed new and inventive religious error. The deception within this man’s agenda is exemplified when you realize that he rejects Jesus as God, only assigning Him the role of a prophet. Likewise he rejects the ministry of Paul the Apostle, who taught us the meaning of life by the Holy Spirit. In that Apostolic ministry we have learned what it means to be the temple of God and how spiritual ministry and authority originates from within.

Of course all other faiths see religious success from an outward perspective. By tempering the body with self sacrifice they believe that divine rights can be achieved.

Paul the Apostle says it this way;

Colossians 2:23 Such regulations indeed have an appearance of wisdom, with their self-imposed worship, their false humility and their harsh treatment of the body, but they lack any value in restraining sensual indulgence.

Sensual indulgence refers to the senses being pampered with spiritual seduction; a common witness found within man made religious kingdoms.

For this reason the average Christian can forego giving homage to this one character. However it doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be concerned about how he will delude the masses.

The power of deception lies within the things we hold in common. Hence fleshly actions that glorify human strengths unite people around a common interest and spirit. This Mahdi character might not capture our attention due to any interest in golf or baking cookies, but he may very well hold great spiritual sway over those who remain charmed by fleshly religious deeds. Even religious Christians may suffer that deception.

Matthew 24:24 For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.

A look into matters of deception are often based on the things we hold in common. A religious pursuit often includes:

• A reverence for an authority figure or priest class.
• A set of rituals that engage man’s strength in body, soul and spirit.
• Sacrifices of the things we hold dear.
• A temple of human origins.
• Doctrines defining good or evil boundaries for those within the box.
• A religious mission that offers advancement.

Now the church label might not be the same for each, but human nature is the same. If we then find unity around similar principles then the counterfeit unites us. But it also distracts us and holds us captive to heightened forms of spiritual deception. This is a last ditch effort by the Devil who knows his time is short.

Is this Mahdi character powerful? That remains to be seen, but it appears that the powers that be; are taking an interest in him. Those that manipulate times, seasons and world events may have chosen this man to fulfill a dark biblical mandate. For this reason an entourage of demonic forces maybe at his disposal which includes an array of lying signs and wonders.

For example; the Mahdi’s most recent claim to fame involved efforts to dethrone the Pontiff and declare himself the true Pope.

A series of events were orchestrated by this Mahdi prior to the Popes death. He positioned his followers throughout twenty different countries to declare himself the true Pope. An Islamic chant went out on Easter Sunday, first declaring devotion to their Allah, followed by the name of the Mahdi being declared as the true successor. Of course a day later we hear of the Popes demise and the Madhi taking credit for the victory. This sparked the interest of many news sites and an unusual amount of interest came from Christendom.

However as profound as this sequence of events may appear; it also carries with it a polished edge that gives the impression its being helped along by those behind the curtain. This reminds me of the efforts that went in to getting the President into office. Due to the head wound incident, many Christians were believing that this was biblical and a sign from God. Yet the discerning heart saw through the staged facade.

Keep in mind there is still an agenda to create a one world religious system and this Madhi maybe the man that can bring it all together. If you recall back in March of 2021 the seeds to a religious marriage of the faiths had already taken place. Within an Iraqi ceremony orchestrated by the Pope he set out to honor Abraham as the father of three distinct faiths. What followed were three temples set up in Dubai in honor of that embrace of unity. Likewise Chrislam was heavily promoted as a means to pull down the walls of religious division. So the thought of an Islamic caliph rising to the occasion may not be so far fetched. However the discerning heart is once again being called upon to hear from heaven.

Uniting the faiths may sound noble, but religion has never saved anyone. Remember; true faith in Christ is an example of oneness with God in Spirit. Within that fellowship we automatically find ourselves fulfilling the will of God with genuine authority and power. The apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor or teacher isn’t adorned with authority based on what they do with their hands, instead it’s based on what they first do with the Holy Spirit that resides within. Likewise the Body of Christ finds a similar authoritative commission if they will just use it. However many believers may never use their gifts due to a loyalty to man, to a movement, to a kingdom principle or just due to religious upbringing.
