If this is a so called planet how comes at 30:18 this can clearly been seen on the front of the building NOT BEHIND like you say it is i think this is know more than a bit of light reflection from either the video cam or cam glear i am not convinced matey i need a lot more proof.

Need alot more proof than spurious flashes notwithstanding the “object in question” has a hilite on the OPPOSITE side of where it should be…AND if it is SUMMER in the Northern Hemisphere WHY is the sun showing up when it should be virtually pitch black down there? Thanks for posting…those were some interesting videos. I would caution about the speculative causes of what is witnessed. Obviously something is present that creates the changes in the photographic evidence.
But, are you sure that shadow early in the production does not result from my grandma’s hat? She wore a large round, straw hat. It would actually make a rather large, circular shadow as appears in your video. The real mystery is that both my grannies passed away quite some time ago.
For you disbelievers in my grandma’s influence, perhaps you should question how such a large space object–even if circular–would not cast a shadow that appears as a straight line on our nearly flat appearing earth. Have you ever seen a circular cloud pass over head, even one mile large? The resulting shadow is so immense from one’s proximity to it, that the shape of a circular pattern is lost due to being so close to it. To actually see a circle, one would have to move away from the resultant shadow.

A light source is passing overhead, coming from the direction that the 3 guys in protective suits pointed toward. As it passes over, it casts the shadow seen in the foreground, moving from right to left. This shadow is formed by equipment at the radom communications station, where the webcam is located.
As evidence of this, watch the shadow in the background, cast by the main base station, moving in tandem with the movement of the shadow in the foreground.
Summing up, a light source moving overhead from left to right casts shadows moving from right to left. The direction of movement of the shadows corresponds inversely to the direction that the men in protective suits were pointing previously.

July is the middle of Antarctica’s winter. The sun is well below the horizon all day long and all you see is for daylight is a few hours of pink twilight. The sun does not peek up there until their summer months, Oct.-Mar.

i must dispute your theory about the shadow being a planet. In this image ( http://www.awi.de/typo3temp/pics/2d042369cf.jpg ) you clearly see a communications bubble which explains your shadow’s source object. In regards to density of shadow, with clear definition of its edge, it is clearly a shadow generated by an object in close poximity to the camera. The interesting question though, is what caused the shadow?
It may have been a simple helium balloon test as this is basically what they do there. Many research balloons launched in Antartica have lights attatched to ease visual tracking. Which also explains what the suited guys might be watching.

i am a full time truther and get annoyed with hackjob reports like this. It achieves nothing but bad press for eveerybody. Some of the stuff you raise is excellent but a little more fact and a bit less unbased supposition would do more good. You cannot accuse others of not telling the truth when your own story fails the same test.

and i should add, the light causing the transition of the shadow is most likely the moon,and this also explains the reflections on the station’s windows,( left to right thus right to left shadow) which are plainly visible yet strangely absent from the authors commentary.
maybe someone will do the math to prove/disprove that but from a quick squizz at the current position of la luna, i say the moon is the best candidate for the shadow light source. PS i live in NZ so we are pretty familiar with Antartica,

Yawn. In Antartica in summer the sun will go about in a circular pattern.As you have all seen the light shining under the building was shining on the wall in the shadow. He forgot to analyse that blatant fact. That cannot be if its on the horizon on the far side of the building.The moon will be reflecting the sun as well don`t forget. The bloke needs to go for a walk, sniff the forest, anything. astro of perth.

Sorry, but I was so interested in this story, that i went to the website of the neumayer station (http://www.awi.de/NM_WebCam/) and the very next night this planetshaped thing looked diffrent! The shadow was like a balloon with some kind a strange tentacles at the side.
Just take a look today, i´m not sure if it is there …
BUT! that there is sunshine for 6 hours a day during wintertime! this seems unusual to me
